Law Enforcement Threat Liaison Officer (TLO) 8-Hour Basic Course: December 2, 2020

Description:

The goal of the Threat Liaison Officer (TLO) Program is to increase local, statewide, and regional intelligence sharing. The mission of the TLO Program is to foster reporting of threat information for the purpose of timely analysis and dissemination of threats in order to counter multi-jurisdictional crime and terrorism. TLOs will receive 8 hours of counterterrorism, criminal intelligence, and privacy training. TLOs will also receive training and access to the statewide intelligence database commonly referred to as LINX. This program is designed to broaden threat information sharing and also advance a better understanding of NH Information & Analysis Center (NHIAC) capabilities and resources to assist agencies with their investigations.

TLOs serve as principal points of contact for their agencies and facilitate threat information sharing. They educate others within their agency, thereby enhancing situational awareness and agency intelligence functions. TLOs remain actively engaged with New Hampshire’s Fusion Center Network for the benefit of their agency and the state as a whole.
