Warm Zone EMS Grant

The New Hampshire Department of Safety Grants Management Unit (GMU) is making Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) funds available to assist with enhancing emergency medical services (EMS) response to active shooter events. The purpose of this HSGP is to assist eligible entities with funding for the purchase of equipment used in response to active shooter events.

All application and reimbursement materials will be managed through the Grants Management Unit.

Each grant shall not exceed $6,000.00 per eligible entity during this grant program’s performance period. Funds will be reimbursed upon completion of the project and submitting of proper documentation.

A limited amount of funding is available in this grant on a first come, first serve basis.

Eligible entities include: municipalities, municipal fire departments, municipal police departments, municipal EMS agencies, municipal emergency management agencies, and private EMS agencies with an active 911 contract. Only one entity per municipality will be granted funds.
